Overview

Next Shift is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. The developer does not collect personal data from the app.

Schedule data

Shift names, times, locations, notes, presets, preferences, and reminder settings are stored locally on your device. They are shared only between the Next Shift app and its widget extension through Apple’s App Group storage. They are not transmitted to the developer.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide transaction status so the app can verify trial or permanent access.

Notifications and Live Activities

If you enable them, the app schedules shift reminders and Live Activities using Apple’s on-device system services. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.

Data retention and deletion

Because schedule data stays on your device, you control it. You can delete individual shifts in the app. Removing the app may remove its locally stored data, subject to Apple’s operating-system behavior and backups.

Children

Next Shift is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
